Process improvement is an ongoing effort to improve products, services, or processes. These efforts can seek small "incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement all at once. Delivery (customer valued) processes are constantly evaluated and improved in the light of their efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility.
Process improvement goes with several different names including business process management (BPM), business process improvement (BPI), business process re-engineering, continual improvement process (CIP) etc. all having the same goal of minimizing errors, reducing waste, improving productivity and streamlining efficiency.
The goal of this training is to help the learner apply the various process improvement and quality management tools and techniques in their manufacturing, production and/or business processes by identifying, analyzing and improving existing business processes to optimize performance, meet best practice standards or simply improve quality and the user experience for customers.
Who this course is for
At the end of this training, you would have mastered the principles, tools and techniques required for continual process Improvement; and they will be able to creatively implement them with a view to transforming their processes to one that consistently meets customers' requirements.
